ABOUT ME
MY STORY
Anthony Blanchard is a performer based in NYC. He recently moved from the tundra of St. Paul, MN, to attend the American Musical Dramatic Academy, where he is currently in his second year of education. Anthony has been a part of many productions with Minnehaha Academy players including, William Barfee in Spelling Bee, The Baker in Into the Woods, And Mr. Green in Clue. Anthony has also worked on a pilot episode as background and stage dancer with Excelsior Entertainment for the Old Log Theater. He hopes to take the stage in New York and continue to tell stories that move people. He is also working towards exploring film and television, and be involved in all forms of the performing arts.
Aspirations
I am an artist because I want to tell the stories that don’t get heard. I want to spread joy and evoke change to those who listen. I want to use my experience to show the true beauty of queer love and perform in such a way that you are changed when you exit the theater. I want to move all of us towards something better through the beauty of performance.
